Te Wheke, Just One More Time.

 The year sixes and I read the story Kupe and Te wheke.

 We got to make an animation and recreate the ending.

Advertising - Responsibility

WALT:  We are learning to explore, critique and then use these design elements in our advertisement:  Colours, shapes, lettering, use of space, proportion, composition, symbols and logo. we are also learning about the school values.

To be honest out of all our work on this I really enjoyed playing around for the 
photos and for the colours.

Hypothermia

We are learning about about hypothermia and heat stroke because my class is going to cam in authers pass and we all want to be safe.

Heat Stroke

Me and my class are learning about heat stroke and hypothermia because my class is going on camp and we all want to be safe.

Persuasive Writing Techniques

 We have been learning about the different techniques to use in persuasive writing, which are alliteration, facts, opinions, repetitions, emotive language, statistics, and the rule of three.

The hardest example to find was the repetition. Do you agree with my examples.

Celebrations

 We are learning vocabulary for our T-Shaped reading unit on celebrations.

The most challenging words for me were acknowledge, Jubilee, and Rejoice I think they were hard because iv'e never heard of them before.
